How can I place my order?
Its easy to place an order with us.  We make it fast and simple!  When you are ready to purchase an item, you may have to select an option in the pull down box next to the product.  Click the "Add To Shopping Cart" button.  You will now be directed to view all items in your shopping cart.  Each time you add an item to your shopping cart, you will be able to view all the items in your cart.  After reviewing the items in your shopping cart, you can either start the check out process or continue shopping by using any of the top tabs.  While you are shopping you can access your shopping cart at anytime by simply clicking on the shopping cart icon at the top right of any page.  Once all the items you want to buy are in your Shopping Cart, click the button, 'Proceed to Checkout'.  Here is where you will enter your order information and submit your order.

When will my credit card be charged?

The Tailored Tail will charge your credit card when your items ship.  Please note that sometimes a charge may appear as an authorization, this is just to ensure your card has sufficient funds to cover the transaction once it is time to process.

How long will my stuff take to get here?

We do our best to keep our most frequently ordered items in stock, to offer you our widest selection we do special order some items from our manufacturer.  In stock items typically ship within 3-7 business days while special order items may take 5-15 business days to ship.

We currently collect sales tax from our Florida customers only.

I ordered the wrong size, what do I do know?

At The Tailored Tail we want to make sure we do our best to give you exact measurements and specific size charts to help you select the correct size for your pup.  In the event that your item does not fit, please contact us at returns@tailoredtail.com within 14 days of delivery and we will arrange to exchange your item for the correct size. While we are happy to replace your item for you, we only accept returns that have not been worn or used, returned items must have original tags and packaging.  Items received without the original tags and packaging will be rejected and returned to you. Please see our Return and Exchange Policy for more details.  Please note that you will be charged additional shipping fees for your replacement item.

I received my item damaged, what do I do?

We do our best to inspect every item leaving our warehouse, in the rare and unlikely event you receive a defective item we will replace it FREE of charge as FAST as we can. Please contact us at returns@tailoredtail.com within 14 days of the receipt of your order and we will take care of the rest.

We want to make sure you are absolutely satisfied with your purchase.  If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied, contact us at returns@tailoredtail.com to return your item within 14 days of delivery for a no-hassle, no-question refund*.  Our staff will be happy to assist you in any way they can to ensure you have an enjoyable shopping experience.

What is your return and exchange policy?

We understand you have choices when it comes down to your pup s needs and that is why at The Tailored Tail customer satisfaction is our number one priority.  We only carry the highest quality products and guarantee you will be 100% satisfied with your order.  If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us at returns@tailoredtail.com within 14 days of receipt of your order to arrange for a refund.

  • All returns and exchanges must be issued a Return Authorization Number (RA#) any item returned to us without an RA# will not be processed.  Please contact our customer service department at returns@tailoredtail.com for an RA# and the address to which you can mail your return.

  • * All items returned or exchanged must be unused and in the original saleable condition. Any items worn or with incomplete packaging and tags will be rejected and returned to you.

  • * Please note that All Returns will be charged a 20% restocking Fee.

  • * Please note that we provide you with one (1) complementary shipping for exchanges. All additional exchanges will be charged shipping and handling fees as per your original order.

  • * Please include a copy of your original receipt and RA# number to ensure your return is processed correctly and as fast as possible.

  • * We work hard to process returns and exchanges as fast as possible.  Please allow 10-14 days after we receive your item before we ship an exchange or refund your purchase.

  • * Please note that shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.

  • * Please read the items description carefully before placing your order.  Certain items are non-refundable.

  • * Customer is responsible for return shipping charges associated with returns and/or exchanges, for your safety we recommend using a insured/trackable courier to return items.  The Tailored Tail is not responsible for damaged or lost items in transit.

  • * Undeliverable packages which require reshipment at the customer's request, are subject to a reshipment charge equivalent to the original shipping fees.  This includes refusal of a package, unclaimed packages, or misinformation on the part of the customer.  Should we be unable to reach the customer for resolution, a 50% restock charge will be applied and a store refund will be issued for the balance.  Shipping and handling is non-refundable.

How much do you charge for shipping?

We charge a flat shipping rate of $6.99 dollars on most of our items.  Certain oversized items will cost more that the flat rate, these items will include a statement on the product detail page that lets you know that it is not eligible for flat rate or free shipping offers.  Please check your shopping cart for the exact amount you will be charged for shipping and handling.  Why don't you take advantage of our FREE shipping offer? All you have to do is purchase $149 or more from The Tailored Tail and you will receive free shipping anywhere in the continental USA.

What is your privacy policy?
The Tailored Tail understands your concerns about privacy.  We do not share your information with any third parties.  We do collect passive information on products browsed via log files and we analyze this information in aggregate to ensure our site is merchandised in a manner that adds the most convenience and value to our customers. When an order is placed, we collect basic information including your name, home address, phone, email address and credit card information.  We use this information to confirm your order and to respond to any questions you may have.  Where required, we also share this information with certain intermediaries (UPS and Product Manufacturers) strictly to process and ship your order.
